The Genuine OEM Mazda Steering Wheel Clock Spring for the 2004-2009 Mazda 3 is an essential component in the proper functioning of your vehicle’s steering system. This clock spring connects the steering wheel to the steering column, allowing you to control the direction of the wheels and use the functions such as audio and cruise controls.
Installation Instructions:
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the driver airbag module using a suitable tool and disconnect the electrical connector from the clock spring.
- Remove the steering wheel nut and then remove the steering wheel from the steering column.
- Remove the clock spring retaining screws and then remove the clock spring from the steering column.
- Install the new clock spring onto the steering column and secure it with the retaining screws.
- Install the steering wheel onto the steering column and secure it with the nut.
- Connect the electrical connector to the clock spring and then install the driver airbag module.
- Reconnect the negative battery cable.
