Installation Instructions:
- Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
- Use a jack and jack stands to raise the rear of the vehicle.
- Locate the existing trailer hitch on the vehicle and remove any bolts or screws holding it in place.
- Place the new trailer hitch reinforcement mount plate in position, aligning the bolt holes with the holes in the vehicle frame.
- Secure the new trailer hitch reinforcement mount plate using the bolts or screws that were removed in Step 3.
- Use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts or screws to the manufacturer’s recommended torque specification.
- Lower the vehicle off of the jack stands.
- Test the new trailer hitch reinforcement mount plate to ensure that it is securely installed.
