The Mazda 2 / 3 / 5 / 6 / CX-5 Brake Pedal Stop Lamp Switch is a crucial component of your vehicle’s braking system. Important Note: Before beginning the installation process, make sure that the replacement part matches the one being replaced in terms of make, model, and specifications.

Steps:
- Locate the brake pedal stop lamp switch under the dashboard on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
- Disconnect the electrical connector that is attached to the old brake pedal stop lamp switch.
- Use a socket wrench set to remove the nut that secures the old brake pedal stop lamp switch to the brake pedal assembly.
- Remove the old brake pedal stop lamp switch from the brake pedal assembly.
- Take the new brake pedal stop lamp switch and carefully align it with the mounting location on the brake pedal assembly.
- Insert the bolt through the hole in the new brake pedal stop lamp switch and tighten it securely with a socket wrench set.
- Reconnect the electrical connector to the new brake pedal stop lamp switch.
- Test the new brake pedal stop lamp switch by pressing the brake pedal down and observing the stop lamp function.
- Adjust the position of the new brake pedal stop lamp switch if necessary to ensure proper function.
- Replace any panels or coverings that were removed during the installation process.
